Role of the Assistant Deputy Ministers Advisory Committee. The Task Force will consult with the ADM Advisory Committee on various aspects of the Access to Information framework, including the Access to Information Act, regulations, and relevant policies and guidelines. The 17-member committee will provide advice and suggestions on how to improve the access to information framework. It will also act as a sounding board for ideas and proposals. The ADM Advisory Committee will also be consulted on how to promote openness in keeping with the philosophy of the Act. Rôle du comité consultatif des sous-ministres adjoints (SMA). Le Groupe d'étude consultera le Comité consultatif des SMA sur divers aspects du cadre de l'accès à l'information, notamment la Loi sur l'accès à l'information, les règlements afférents de même que les politiques et les lignes directrices connexes. Le Comité, qui compte 17 membres, fournira des conseils et des suggestions sur la façon d'améliorer le cadre de l'accès à l'information. Il servira également de mécanisme de rétroaction sur les idées et les propositions avancées. Le Comité consultatif des SMA sera également consulté sur la façon de promouvoir la transparence, conformément à la philosophie sous-jacente à la Loi.
